Tickets available for Tomes of Terror: Campfire Tales

Our 2016 Hallowe’en show, Tomes of Terror: Campfire Tales, brings together a collection of urban legends, ghost stories, and other chilling campfire tales. Tomes of Terror: Campfire Tales will be performed on October 21-22 and 27-29, and tickets and/or reservations are now available on our Tickets page. (Follow the Brown Paper Tickets link to buy your tickets in advance, or scroll further down for the form to reserve tickets and pay at the door.) Thursday the 27th is a pay-what-you-can night, and there will be an (optional) costume contest with prizes on closing night, the 29th.

Congratulations to the cast and crew of our Hallowe’en show, Tomes of Terror: Campfire Tales, just announced on the show’s web page. While you’re there, add the dates to your calendar, because it may still be summer, but soon enough October will be here and you’ll want to make sure you join us around the campfire for the weird, creepy, thrilling, strange tales our campers have to share!

Audition sides for Campfire Tales now available

We’re all happy campers, because the audition sides for our Hallowe’en show, Tomes of Terror: Campfire Tales are now available for download! If you haven’t yet signed up for an audition slot and would like to do so, time’s running out! Go to our Auditions page for more information or (if you’ve already signed up for an audition slot) for the link to download the sides. Get ready, campers; it’s going to be a scream!

Upcoming auditions: “Campfire Tales” and “The Arrest of Arsène Lupin”

Audition signups are now open for two upcoming projects! “The Arrest of Arsène Lupin” will be a studio recording project, following up on Spring 2015’s performance of “The Mysterious Traveler” with a new radio adaptation from PMRP’s Michael Lin of the first-ever-published Maurice Leblanc short story featuring Arsène Lupin, gentleman-burglar; auditions for that are August 6th and 8th. And ”Tomes of Terror: Campfire Tales” will be an anthology of urban legends, ghost stories, and other creepy stories told by campers around a campfire; auditions for that are August 22d and 23d, with six performances in late October. Tickets available for Revenge of the Super Sleuths

Tickets and reservations are now available for our summer show, Revenge of the Super Sleuths, featuring daring deeds of detection by Hercule Poirot, Lady Molly of Scotland Yard, and Sherlock Holmes. You can either buy tickets in advance or reserve tickets for purchase at the door on our Tickets page. Performances are July 15, 16 (two performances), 21, 22, and 23. Don’t miss it!

Upcoming Reprise of Gender-Swapped Star Trek: Journey to Babel

If you missed our performance at Arisia in January, or if you would like to see it again, we will hold a reprise of the Gender-Swapped "Journey to Babel"! Come hear Captain Jane T. Kirk and the crew of the Enterprise in this performance of a classic episode of Star Trek.

Admission is free (donations appreciated). There will be three performances on June 3 and 4 at Unity Somerville.

You can now listen for free to all three episodes of PMRP’s new three-part radio drama, The Duke of Newbury Street, which follows the adventures of reclusive millionaire Alexander Endicott, his faithful manservant Dmitri, and catburglar extraordinaire Cleo Carmel in Boston just before the start of World War II! Spies! Secret identities! Mayhem! Intrigue! Borscht!

The setting is Boston, just before America enters WWII. Cat burglar extraordinaire, Cleo Carmel, is hired by mysterious agents to rob the home of reclusive millionaire, Alexander Endicott. However, things don’t go quite as planned . . .

Episode 2 will follow on Monday, April 18, and then Episode 3 on Monday, April 25. Each episode is roughly 20 minutes long.
