Tickets for our Halloween show now available!

We are very excited to be performing “Night of the Living Dead” — our adaptation of the classic film — along with an original horror-comedy, “The King in Yellow”, and tickets and reservations are now available!

This show will have three performances in Davis Square on October 20th and 21st (including both a matinée and an evening show on Saturday the 21st), and three performances in Watertown on October 27th, 28th, and a matinée show on Sunday the 29th. How to buy tickets (or make reservations) depends on which performance you’re attending, so head to our Tickets page for the details!

Tickets for A Study in Scarlet now available!

Tickets are now available for our original full-length adaptation of the very first Sherlock Holmes story, A Study in Scarlet. Performances are July 21-22 and 27-29.

A murder has been committed! The body has no wounds, yet the room is covered in blood. Scotland Yard sends for Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Watson! “There’s the scarlet thread of murder running through the colorless skein of life,” says Sherlock Holmes, “and our duty is to unravel it.”

You can buy tickets in advance, or make a reservation to pay at the door, on our Tickets and Reservations page, and you can go to the show’s page to learn more about the show (including full cast and crew).

We hope to see you at the performance!

Watch City Steampunk Festival on, but HVAC problems have cancelled our performance

Cancelled: Sadly, due to HVAC problems at the Waltham Public Library, all events there have had to be cancelled this weekend, and we can no longer perform “The Final Problem” on Saturday, May 13th, as planned. However, the rest of Watch City Steampunk Festival is still happening, and PMRP very much encourages you still to attend. I have it on good authority that Sherlock Holmes and John Watson, both of whom are good friends of PMRP, will be perambulating the festival, and as the Festival is a free event, they will be waiving their usual fee, should you have any mysteries that need investigation.

Metropolis in Watertown / A Study in Scarlet auditions / Boston Theater Marathon

There are two more chances to see Metropolis, at Mosesian Center for the Arts' black-box theater in Watertown! This is a great space in a wheelchair-accessible venue with ample free parking nearby! You can get tickets by following the link on our Tickets page, or go straight to MCA's own ticketing page for the show.

Also, this summer we will be presenting Jeremy Holstein's original adaptation of the very first Sherlock Holmes adventure ever, A Study in Scarlet this summer, and audition signups are now open! Auditions will be May 15th and 16th. Check our Auditions page for more information (including available roles).

And on May 7th, we’ll be participating in the Boston Theater Marathon! Tickets are available to watch in-person or streaming online. Our ten-minute script is “Family Business” in the 2pm slot.

Tickets for Metropolis now available!

We are very excited to be performing an original full-length staged radio drama adaptation of the classic silent film Metropolis, and tickets and reservations are now available!

Metropolis will have four performances in Davis Square on April 20-22 (including a pay-what-you-can matinée), and two performances in Watertown on April 28 and 29. How to buy tickets (or make reservations) depends on which performance you’re attending, so head to our Tickets page for the details!

Metropolis! Spring 2023.

Update: Audition sides and available roles have now been posted! See our Auditions page for the signup form for an audition slot, and the link to the Google Drive folder with audition documents!

The Post-Meridian Radio Players are proud to announce our spring show: an original full-length adaptation of the science-fiction classic, Metropolis! (Turning a silent film into radio drama? We’ve done it before!) There will be six performances in late April 2023: four in our familiar venue, Boston Brunch Church, near Davis Square, Somerville, and two at the Mosesian Center for the Arts in Watertown. See our Metropolis page for more information!

Audition signups are now open! See our Auditions page for more details, or if you already know the drill go straight to the audition signup form to sign up for an audition slot. This is an ambitious show with a large cast and crew, and besides voice performers and Foley artists (live sound-effects performers) we’ll need a lot of help behind the scenes (and probably understudies). The audition signup form is also where you can tell us if you're interested in behind-the-scenes positions.
